# renewal-risk-brief, a Claude skill

From https://brinvik.com. Free to use and change, no warranty.

What it does: reads a CSV export of customer accounts and their logged activity (meetings, calls, emails and
internal notes, with who at the customer took part) and writes the Monday renewals brief: every
renewal in the next 90 days as slipping, steady or growing, by region, one sourced reason each.

What is in the folder:

- `SKILL.md`, the skill. The rules for slipping, steady and growing are in plain words; change them to
match how your team actually judges a renewal.
- `coaching.md`, the lines your team lead commits after reading a brief. Claude reads it on every run and
never writes to it. The one line in it is the example from the Brinvik article; delete it or keep it.
- `renewal-book.csv` (separate download), a fictional 40-account book to try it on. Every company and
person in it is invented. Your own export needs the same columns, including `activity` and
  `contacts`; SKILL.md lists them.

How to use it: add the folder as a skill in Claude, then attach your export and ask for "the renewals
brief for the week of <date>". In Claude Code, put the folder in `.claude/skills/`.

What it will not do: read your CRM, forecast, or remember a correction you give in chat. A correction
that should hold every week goes into `coaching.md`, by a person.
