AI consultant in Denmark: how to choose the right one
An AI consultant helps your company get AI to do real work: find the tasks that eat hours, set the tool up in your own systems and teach the team to use it. Brinvik is a one-person studio in Copenhagen that works only with Claude from Anthropic, at fixed prices you can see before you say yes. The first step is a one-week audit at €670, credited against the project that follows.
Who it suits, and who should wait
You need a consultant when three things are true at the same time. There is a task in your company that someone does over and over, and that you can describe in a minute. Someone on your side owns the outcome and can say yes to changing how the work gets done. And you have tried to solve it yourself with licences and good intentions, and it ended with two people using it.
The third one decides it. Most companies between 5 and 80 people already have AI in the building, usually as a chat window someone opened in the spring. What is missing is a setup that knows your company and your rules, and a person who is responsible for it still working in three months. More licences do not solve that.
Wait if you have fewer than five people. A training day is then too expensive for what it moves, and you get more from using Claude yourself for a couple of months and coming back with a concrete task. Wait too if the decision about AI has not been taken at all. A consultant can help you take it, but that is a different service from building, and it is called advisory.
More than 80 people is not a no. I work with one team at a time, say a sales team of 20 in a company of 200. Whether it works depends on your procurement process and your IT department. The headcount rarely decides it.
Four kinds of consultant, and how they bill
The word covers four quite different things, and the price rarely tells you which one you are looking at. The billing model does.
| Type | How they bill | Fits when | Ask about |
|---|---|---|---|
| Freelance generalist | Hourly or daily rate | You have a bounded task and someone in-house who can steer it. | What have you built that is still running today? |
| AI agency | Project price, often with hours on top | You want several pairs of hands at once and a project manager in between. | Who holds the work after the sales meeting? |
| Large consultancy | Day rate per consultant, usually as a team | You are a large organisation with procurement, security and several departments involved. | What do the first three months cost, all in? |
| Specialist studio, like Brinvik | Fixed price, published up front | You want one model set up by the person who builds it, and to know the price before you start. | What happens if it does not work? |
The first three carry no numbers here on purpose. Rates in Denmark vary so much with experience and firm that a figure would be a guess, and you get the real one by asking for a quote on a concrete task. My own prices are further down the page.
Ask how many models the consultant works with before you ask what the hour costs. An agency that sells every model often picks the one it has a deal on. I work only with Claude, because nobody knows five models to the bottom at the same time, and because the model has to fit the task before the number of them matters. If your task fits something else better, I say so in the first meeting.
Five questions to ask before you sign
Ask them in this order. The answers to the first two usually settle the rest.
Who builds it? Get the name of the person who writes the setup, and talk to them before the contract. A sales meeting with a partner and a delivery from a graduate is the most common disappointment in the trade.
What does it cost in total? Ask for the whole number for the first three months, including licences and hours beyond the quote. Fixed price means the risk of hitting the number sits with the consultant and not with you.
Where is my data? Ask which country the servers are in, whether there is a data processing agreement, and whether your data is used to train the model. The answers should be the EU, yes and no.
Who owns it afterwards? Prompts, setup, documentation and access should be yours, so you can change consultant without starting over.
What is the plan for people actually using it? A setup nobody uses is a cost. Ask how the team is trained, who owns it internally, and what gets measured after 30 days.
Where it goes wrong
Three things go wrong more often than anything else, and none of them is about the technology.
Licences before a task. The company buys 20 seats and hopes the usage follows by itself. Three weeks later two people use it, and they use it to write emails. Start with one task that eats hours, and buy seats for the people who will solve it.
A pilot without an owner. The pilot runs, people are happy, and then the project manager changes jobs. Nobody knows who fixes the prompt when the price list changes. Give the setup a named owner and an hour a week before it goes live.
The consultant who never leaves. Hourly billing gives the consultant a reason to stay. A fixed price and a clear end point give you a system you run yourself, and a consultant you call when you feel like it.

| Website AI agent | From €4,025 | A Claude agent that qualifies visitors and books meetings in your CRM. |

| Advisory | From €1,342 a month | Sparring and a written decision memo each month for the person who has to say yes. |
As an AI consultant in Copenhagen I set up AI agents and internal Claude tools for Danish companies, and I build them myself. What you cannot do alone is get the setup to know your documents, your customers and your rules at the same time, and get the team to still be using it in three months. That is what you pay for.
What the certification says, and what it does not
I hold four certifications from Anthropic Education, and you can verify each of them by clicking it. A certification makes nobody a good consultant. It shows that I learned the model from the people who build it, and you can check that yourself instead of taking my word for it.
Does this fit you? Seven taps, an honest answer.
The check for Internal Claude.
Questions before you choose
What does an AI consultant do?
An AI consultant finds the tasks in your company where AI can do real work, sets the tool up in your own systems and teaches the team to use it. The good kind of work ends with something that runs without the consultant: a setup with an owner, documentation and people who use it every day.
Which AI consultant in Denmark is best?
The one who has built something that is still running, at a company your size, and who shows you the price before you ask. Ask for the name of the person who builds, for the whole number for three months, and for who owns the setup afterwards. Brinvik is a specialist studio in Copenhagen that works only with Claude, at fixed published prices, and it fits companies of 5 to 80 people or one team of that size inside a larger company.
What is the difference between an AI consultant and an AI agency?
An agency sells hours from a team and puts a project manager between you and the people who build. A consultant who builds personally is someone you talk to directly. The agency fits when you want many hands at once. The independent consultant fits when you want to know the price in advance and talk to the person writing the setup.
Does my AI consultant need to be in Copenhagen?
No. Most of the work happens in your systems and on video, and the training day can be held at your office anywhere in Denmark. I am based in Copenhagen and happy to travel. Travel outside Greater Copenhagen is billed at cost.
What is an AI agent consultant?
An AI agent consultant, sometimes written AI automation consultant, builds agents: AI that carries out a task in your systems instead of only answering in a chat window. One example is an agent that qualifies a visitor on your website and books the meeting in your CRM. It is the part of AI work that moves the most hours, and the part where most pilots stall, because the agent needs rules, access and an owner.
What is an Anthropic-certified AI consultant?
A consultant who has completed and passed Anthropic Education’s courses. I hold four: AI Fluency for Small Businesses, Teaching AI Fluency, Claude 101 and Claude Code 101, each with a public verification link. It is training. Brinvik has no partnership agreement with Anthropic and does not resell Claude.
